Why doesn't a GP user see the form (or report) modifications printed on the form after the form (or report) had been modified and saved?

Question: Why doesn't a GP user see the form (or report) modifications printed on the form after the form (or report) had been modified and saved?

Answer: After modifying a Microsoft Dynamics GP 2010 form like a Sales Order (SOP) Blank History Invoice Form via this step: Microsoft Dynamics GP>Tools>Customize>Report Writer, the relevant user and the ID of MODIFIED REPORTS, that comes with the GP 2010 installation, shall be granted the access to this modified form (or report). If the granting step is not applied to this user, this report modification will not take effect with this user; this is often the reason that a user doesn't see his modification shown in the printed SOP Blank History Invoice.

In the case of the modified Sales Order (SOP) Blank History Invoice Form, the permission granting step is via: Microsoft Dynamics GP>Tools>Setup>System>Alternate/Modified Forms and Reports>Enter system password>ID (=MODIFIED REPORTS, and also later for the relevant user ID), Product = Microsoft Dynamics GP, Type = Reports, Alternate/Modified Forms and Reports List: Sales>SOP Blank History Invoice Form, check on Microsoft Dynamics GP (Modified), then click on the Save button to save this change.
